2015: Some Favorite Moments

Happy New Year Everyone! Currently it's 11:00 on December 31, 2015. I want to thank you all for a wonderful year. This time, two years ago, I only had 1200 views and now I have 35,000 views. It's amazing how many comments I've received, and friends I have made. I hope in 2016 that I become even more inspired to blog more on top of everything. Throughout the year I have come to really love my blog because how it makes me unique.

I would like to share with all of you some of my favorite memories of 2015.

Playing in the Snow - I am not a huge of extreme weather, but I really loved playing in the snow during a few of my snow days.

Hanging out with Friends - I have made many friends in the last year and we have had some crazy moments. This year, I learned so much from my friends and always knew they will have my back

(I have also made a lot of blog friends this year, but unfortuntely I have no pictures with them)

Visiting Texas - In March 2015, I went to Texas (San Antonio, Austin, and Houston) for six days with my school's singing group. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had.

Traveling California - This year I was blessed to travel to California (San Francisco and Los Angeles). I go to see more parts to California than I have seen before and fell in love with San Francisco. I hope to go back in the future.

Other Adventures and Memories- So many events have happened this year. I played field hockey, went to tons of art museums, celebrated birthdays, learned a lot more, and kept my mind open. Here are more pictures of my year.

I hope you all have a lovely 2016 filled with memories, good fortunate, and tons of fun. Thank you for making this year unforgettable. See you in the New Year!

My Month in Photos: September 2015

Hey everyone! September was a very busy month. Since I have been lacking in posts, I decided to just show you guys all the things I have done since I haven't been blogging.

I had an exchange student (Ana) from Spain stay with me for three weeks. She was such a sweet girl and I will be staying with her in Barcelona when I go in March.

September 20

My friend Bree and I took Ana around Manhattan. We went to Chelsea (and Meatpacking District) and walked on the Highline and went into stores.

September 23, 2015

I didn't have field hockey practice after school so two of my friends and I took two of our new Barcelona friends around Central Park.

This was my first time walking through Central Park fully. There were so many ponds and lakes and it was just so beautiful. If you ever come to New York I recommend going to Central Park.

There were little stands all along a path with plaques and pictures to buy.

A man was selling old fashioned polaroids in the park. The five of us wanted a group picture and I thin it came out very sweet.

We walked from the Upper East Side all the way to Times Square. On our way we stopped for some ice cream from Godiva. It was so good but a bit expensive for ice cream.

September 25

If you don't know, the Pope was in New York on that Thursday and Friday. Since my school is in Manhattan, we had the day off. So, me and some other girls decided to go around Brooklyn so we aren't stuck in NYC traffic.

There was this cute doughnut store that we went into. They a variety of doughnuts from chocolate to grape. I didn't have any but I heard they were very good.

September 26

A lot happened that Saturday. Earlier in the day Ana, Alana, and I went to Soho to do some shopping. Then, we had some Japanese food in Little Italy (ironic, isn't it?).

The place we went to was a small restaurant with only 6 tables. It was nice just to sit and eat sushi after walking around for so much.

I love this sign because I think it's really "tumblr" or cool. It's a clothing store, but I have yet to buy clothes from there.

Later that night:  Ana and I went to an Ariana Grande concert at the Barclays Center. Ariana was very good and it was such a fun concert. Prince Royce opened up for Ariana and the concert was about 2.5 hours. I absolutely love concerts and this was my first concert since April 2014. It was also Ana's first concert ever so I think she had a fun time.

September 27

I did a lot of sight-seeing in the last few weeks. It was a lot of fun going around New York and doing all the "tourist" things. On that Sunday we went to the Freedom Tower and 9/11 Memorial. The financial district where it is located is beautiful and the government is doing a wonderful job making the memorial for the Twin Towers.

About a street away from the World Trade Center was a food court that we walked into to get something to eat before we walked around more.

There was a Sprinkles  cupcake shop in the food court. These cupcakes are so good and in Midtown Manhattan there is a Cupcake ATM that sells these cupcakes.

Next, we walked from the World Trade Center to the Brooklyn Bridge. We passed a small park on the way and there was this sculpture with florescent lights around it that I thought was strange but cool.

This was my first time walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. For some reason I thought it would be much more exhausting walking across the bridge. We went around 6 o'clock so it was just about to get dark so we watched the city glow from the bridge. Also that night there was a Lunar Eclipse so we saw the moon before it turned red.

I took so many pictures from the Bridge and I am planning to bring back Wordless Wednesday to show all the pictures.

Thanks for reading! I really hope you liked this post. I have scheduled some posts to show you all some of the other pictures I took in September. I am starting to get my life organized in school so soon I will figure out how to write quality posts more.

QOTD: What's your favorite picture? and What's the best place to visit in your city?
